The ZEG is Forefront’s zero-emissions generator that converts wellhead pressure into clean, reliable power. It’s built to replace TEGs and small generators in even the most remote and rugged field environments, with no gas burned and no environmental compromise.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Gas Inlet: Capture Pressure
Raw well gas is directed into the ZEG. No processing required—only pressure matters.
2. Dual-Piston Conversion: Create Motion
Opposing pistons harness pressure to move hydraulic fluid in a closed loop, avoiding hydrate formation.
The ZEG uses a dual-piston engine to extract energy from wellsite pressure—without burning gas or creating emissions.
3. Power Output: Generate Energy
Hydraulic flow powers a turbine or drives wellsite actuators—supporting electric or hydraulic systems.
4. Gas Outlet: Return to Flowline
De-pressurized gas is returned to the system. No combustion, no venting, no loss of product.
